Section 2.2.1.4

Adding a Matching Question

In the following scenario, the user creates a Matching question.

Figure 2.2.1.4.1 illustrates a partially filled Matching question (filled out from Adding a Question section). The test-maker has chosen to create a Matching type question.

The Questions section is where the test-maker writes the at least two questions. If there was only one question, it would be a MC question (See Adding a Multiple Choice Question). The + button allows the test-maker to add more questions.

The Choices (default two choices) section is where the user inputs choices the test-taker picks from. There must be as many or more choices than questions. The + button allows the test-maker to add more choices.

The Answers section will automatically add more answers depending on the number of questions. The test-maker must enter the correct letter that corresponds to the question number.

After pressing the Submit button, the program verifies all the necessary information is written down. If it passes, the test-maker has created their question! Figure 2.2.1.4.2 illustrates what a Matching question might look like in the end.

Figure 2.2.1.4.3 illustrates what the Question Bank will look like after the Matching question has been created, following previous scenarios.
